Example 47 Ft Tower schematic

Actual tower height
depends on the length of
the pipe or tubing being used. Two 24Ft sections with a 4 Ft Riser will make a 52Ft
tower. The riser is the top 4 Ft section of 2 inch Schedule 40 or
stainless steel
pipe that the turbine base mounts onto. Another example; Using 18 foot sections, a 3 section tower the top of the tower would be 54ft plus a 4 ft riser for a hub height of 58 ft. Many other variations can be built. Generally this type of tubing is similar to heavy duty galvanized fencing material that comes in 15, 18 or 21ft sections. The longest practical tubing length is 24ft.
